What Two-Factor Authentication Protects

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code from an authenticator app on top of your password. LLM.Info manages this directly using a standard TOTP authenticator (such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy).

Enabling 2FA

  1. Open Settings and select the Security tab.
  2. In the two-factor section, choose Enable.
  3. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app. If you cannot scan, copy the secret shown and enter it manually.
  4. Your app starts generating 6-digit codes. Enter the current code and choose Verify.

Once verified, 2FA is active on your account.

Save Your Backup Codes

After you enable 2FA, LLM.Info shows a set of one-time backup codes. Save these somewhere safe before leaving the screen. They let you sign in if you lose access to your authenticator. See Using Backup Codes.

When You Will Be Asked for a Code

After enabling 2FA, password and magic-link sign-ins prompt for a code as a second step. If you sign in through enterprise single sign-on, your identity provider enforces login security instead, though sensitive actions may still ask for a code. See Step-Up Verification.
