Where to Manage Notifications

Open Settings and select the Notifications tab. Your preferences are organized by category, such as learning, submissions, account, social, and messaging.

Per-Category Controls

Each category has its own settings:

• In-app: show notifications in the notification center on the site.
• Email: send notifications for that category to your inbox.
• Email frequency: how often emails for that category are grouped and sent.

Toggle in-app or email on or off per category, and adjust the frequency to match how closely you want to follow each area. Each change saves on its own.

When email is enabled for a category, you can choose how often it sends. See Email Digest Frequency for what each option means.

Turning Things Down or Off
