Turning Off Specific Emails

If you only want to stop emails from certain areas, do it per category. Open Settings, select the Notifications tab, and either turn off the email toggle for a category or set its frequency to never. In-app notifications can stay on. See Managing Notification Preferences.

Unsubscribing From All Emails

You can opt out of all notification emails at once. Most notification emails include an unsubscribe link in the footer; following it stops future notification emails site-wide.

When all emails are turned off, the Notifications tab shows a banner letting you know email notifications are disabled, and the per-category email toggles are unavailable while in that state.

Resubscribing

To start receiving notification emails again, open the Notifications tab. From the disabled-emails banner, choose Resubscribe. Your per-category email settings become available again so you can fine-tune what you receive.

Account and Security Emails

Opting out applies to notification emails. Essential account and security messages, such as sign-in verification and account changes, are still sent so you can keep your account safe.
