Choosing How Often Emails Arrive

For each notification category that has email enabled, you can control how often those emails are sent. Open Settings, select the Notifications tab, and use the email frequency selector on a category.

The Options

• Instant: emails are sent as events happen.
• Daily: notifications are grouped into one daily digest.
• Weekly: notifications are grouped into one weekly digest.
• Monthly: notifications are grouped into one monthly digest.
• Never: no emails are sent for that category (in-app notifications still appear if enabled).

How Digests Work

Choosing a daily, weekly, or monthly frequency batches that category's notifications into a single digest email for the period instead of sending each one separately. This is a good way to stay informed without filling your inbox.

The frequency selector only appears for a category when its email delivery is turned on. To turn email on or off per category, see Managing Notification Preferences.
