RETIRED BRAND. Zoom AI Companion is the AI assistant embedded across Zoom Workplace, providing meeting summaries, action items, chat and email drafting, whiteboard generation, and meeting catch-up. It is included at no extra cost with paid Zoom plans. Zoom has retired the AI Companion brand; its developer docs state the capabilities are now integrated throughout Zoom Workplace rather than carrying a separate name.

ZoomMate is Zoom's AI workspace, launched June 2026, built to carry work from conversation through to completion rather than only summarising meetings. It draws context from meetings, documents, chats and connected apps, and can generate documents and slide decks, update CRM records and route approvals. Agentic Search reaches across Zoom, the web and third-party systems including ServiceNow, Salesforce and Workday, while conversational and visual Workflows automate multi-step processes on event, schedule or agentic triggers with optional approval checkpoints.
