DISCONTINUED for most users. Gemini CLI was Google's open-source command-line AI agent. On June 18, 2026 it stopped serving requests for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and free users, as Google unified its tooling into Google Antigravity; Antigravity CLI is the replacement and carries over Agent Skills, Hooks, Subagents and Extensions (as Antigravity plugins). It remains reachable with paid Gemini and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform API keys.
