Appealing a Suspension or Ban

7/6/20260 views

If You Are Suspended

If you can still sign in, open the appeals area and start a new appeal for the account action. Explain why the decision should be reconsidered and add any supporting links. There is no time limit on appealing an account suspension or ban.

If You Are Banned and Cannot Sign In

A suspension or ban ends your active sessions, so you may not be able to reach the appeal form normally. For this reason, the email notifying you of the decision contains a private, single-use appeal link. Open that link to view the decision and submit your appeal without signing in.

Keep the email safe: the link works once, so once you file an appeal through it, it cannot be reused.

After Approval

If staff approve your appeal, the underlying account restriction is lifted and your access is restored. You can then sign in again as normal.

One Active Appeal

You can only have one active appeal for the same decision at a time. Track its status on the appeals page or via the link you used.
