Submitting Change Recommendations

What Change Recommendations Are For

If a directory entry has outdated or incorrect details, you do not have to create a new submission. Instead you can propose specific edits to the existing model, app, or tool.

Suggesting an Edit

Open the entry you want to correct and use its suggest-edit option, which takes you to the suggest-edit form for that item. There you can:

• Change one or more fields rather than rewriting the whole entry.
• Provide the corrected values you are proposing.

Only the fields you change are submitted as proposed updates.

Review and Outcome

Your change recommendation is created with a pending status and is reviewed by staff or the content owner. A recommendation can be approved, rejected, or partially approved, so some proposed changes may be accepted while others are not.

Tips

• Keep each recommendation focused and accurate.
• Cite a source in the entry's links where possible so reviewers can verify the change.
