How to Submit a Model
7/6/20260 views
Before You Submit
You need a signed-in account to add a model. Open submit a model and check whether the model already exists; the form warns you about likely duplicates as you type.
Filling in the Form
Only the model name and vendor are required. The rest is optional but makes a stronger entry:
- Basic information: name, vendor, short and full description.
- Technical specs: context window, max output tokens, release date, training cutoff, modalities, and license.
- Capabilities: open weights, plus vision, audio, video, and tool-use support.
- Links: documentation, Hugging Face, GitHub, and paper URLs.
- Pricing notes, strengths, and caveats.
Review and Publishing
When you submit, the model is created with a pending status and enters the moderation queue. Staff review submissions and either approve or reject them. Members with a trusted trust tier may have their submissions auto-published without waiting for review.
Tracking Your Submission
Watch the status of everything you submit on the contributions page. Approved entries become publicly visible and link to their directory page.
