Using the Compare Tool

One Tool, Three Types

The compare tool at /compare is not limited to models. A type selector at the top lets you switch between comparing:

• Models
• Apps
• Developer tools

You compare one type at a time; switching types resets the columns.

Adding and Removing Items

1. Pick the type you want with the selector tabs.
2. Open the item selector and search for an entry to add it as a column.
3. Add up to four items in total.
4. Remove any item with the control on its column to swap it out.

Each column links back to the item's full detail page.

Reading the Comparison

The table aligns your selected items against the fields that matter for that type, so you can scan differences row by row rather than opening several tabs.

Bookmarking and Sharing

Your selections are encoded in the page URL, including the type and the chosen items. Copy the link to reopen the same comparison later or send it to a colleague, and it will load with the same items in place.

Access

Compare is delivered as a managed feature. If it is not yet open to your account, you may be routed to a landing page that explains how to get access.
