Comparing Models

7/6/20260 views

The Compare Tool

The comparison tool at /compare lets you line up entries side by side. It supports models, apps, and developer tools; this article focuses on comparing models.

Adding Models

  1. Open /compare and make sure the type selector is set to Models.
  2. Use the item selector to search for and add a model.
  3. Repeat to add more. You can compare up to four at once.

Each model you add appears as a column with a link back to its full page, and a remove button to take it out again.

Reading the Table

The comparison table aligns models against shared specifications, including context window, modalities, license and weights, and capability flags such as tool use, vision, and streaming. Differences are easy to scan row by row.

Sharing a Comparison

The current comparison is reflected in the page URL (for example the selected type and model slugs). Bookmark or copy the link to return to the same comparison later or share it with someone else.

A Note on Access

Compare is rolled out as a managed feature. If it is not yet open to your account, you may be directed to a landing page explaining how to get access.
