Earning and Verifying Certificates
How Certificates Are Earned
Some courses award a certificate when you complete them. Completion means finishing the required content and, where the course includes one, passing the end-of-course quiz. The quiz acts as a gate: until you pass it, the course is not considered complete and no certificate is issued.
Finding Your Certificates
Your earned certificates appear under My Certifications. Each certificate records the course, the date earned, and a unique verification code.
Verifying a Certificate
Every certificate carries a verification code that anyone (for example an employer) can check. Visit the public verification page at /certifications/verify/{code} to confirm that a certificate is valid and see the course it was issued for.
Course-completion credentials from paid courses are issued under your name so they can be shown to employers and institutions. Verification is public and does not require an account.
If a Certificate Does Not Appear
If you completed a course but do not see a certificate, confirm you passed the required quiz and that the course was marked complete in My Learning. If it still does not appear, contact support.
