Inviting Students to a Classroom

7/6/20260 views

Two Ways to Add Students

As an educator you can bring students into a classroom by sharing its join code or by sending email invitations.

Sending an Invitation

From a classroom in the educator portal, use the invite action and enter a student's email address. An invitation is created and an email is queued to that address with the details needed to join.

Bulk Invitations

If you need to invite a whole group, you can send invitations to multiple email addresses at once. Each invitation in the batch is recorded and its email queued together, so a large class can be invited in a single step.

Tracking Invitations

You can view the invitations you have sent for a classroom, along with their status, and cancel an invitation that has not been used yet.

Delivery Note

A successful send means the invitation email has been queued for delivery, not that it has already arrived. Delivery happens shortly after. If a student does not receive an invitation, confirm the email address and resend, or share the classroom join code instead. For persistent issues, contact support.
