Hi, I'm Jay. If you're reading this, you're one of the first people to find LLM.Info, and I'm genuinely glad you're here.
I want to take a minute to tell you what this place is, why it exists, and where it's headed, because LLM.Info was never really meant to be mine. It's the entire communities.
AI is moving faster than any of us can keep up with. New models drop every week, every app claims to be revolutionary, and the honest answer to "which one should I actually use?" is buried under hype, affiliate links, and directories that were half-wrong the day they published.
I like many of you have gotten tired of that. Not just as someone building with these tools and trying to compare them fairly, but as someone who watched friends and curious newcomers bounce off AI entirely, because getting started felt like it required a secret map that nobody would share.
So that is what I set out to build: a clear, honest map of the AI landscape that anyone can read. Not a walled garden. Not a leaderboard you can pay your way onto. A resource that stays free at its core for individuals and public institutions, earns trust through quality, and gets better because real people who care about accuracy keep it current.
Right now, LLM.Info brings the essentials together in one place:
Everything is organized, compared, and kept current by a community that values quality over volume. No vanity metrics. No pay-to-win rankings. Just a clear picture of what actually matters.
We're launching early on purpose, because the best version of LLM.Info is the one shaped by the people who use it. Here is a look at what we're building toward:
These will roll out over the coming months. Wherever a feature isn't live yet, you'll find a way to join the waitlist so you're first to know when it lands.
Here is the part that matters most to me: LLM.Info is built by the community, for the community. That is not a tagline, it is the whole model.
If you spot something missing, add it. If something's wrong, help us fix it. If you've learned something worth sharing, teach the next person. Every contribution makes the map a little more accurate, and a little more useful for everyone trying to find their footing in AI.
We're also built for everyone quite literally: LLM.Info ships in six languages with a fast, accessible experience, because a map only helps if people can actually read it. While translations may not be fully accurate in all languages, I'm working with friends to fill those gaps quickly.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning. I can't wait to see what we build together.
Yours truly,
Jay Dubinsky (JayFromEpic)
