Be My Eyes
Be My Eyes
Free visual help for blind and low-vision users, by AI or volunteer
Be My Eyes connects people who are blind or have low vision with sighted volunteers and with AI for real-time visual assistance. Its Be My AI feature is "Built into the Be My Eyes app" and returns image and scene descriptions plus answers to follow-up questions, while volunteer video calls remain available for tougher requests. The app also carries a Service Directory of accessible help desks from participating organisations. Be My Eyes says the app "is available for free across 150 countries and 180 languages, with over 750,000 users and more than 8 million volunteers already connected", and it runs on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Meta AI glasses.
